Chanel Perfume: The Art of Elegant Smell

I. Brand History and Status

In 1921, Coco Chanel and perfumer Ernest Bow launched the N°5 perfume, creating a milestone in the history of perfume. This aldehyde-based perfume broke the tradition of single floral fragrance and became the first modern perfume to use abstract fragrance.
